FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Darwin IT Strategies, LLC registers with the State of Connecticut and the federal government

BETHEL, CONNECTICUT, USA - DECEMBER 16, 2009 - Darwin IT Strategies, LLC announces that it has registered with the federal government and the state of Connecticut as a minority-owned Small Business Enterprise. This increases the number of potential clients the company can pursue, and exposes the company to the government sector. It also allows the company to be eligible to bid on government contracts where portions of the contract are set aside for local small businesses.

"Although IT service contracts for the government sector have slowed, it is a good time to get the required registrations in place. The registration process takes time, and you need to be established when contract opportunities arise" said Darwin Rosario, president of Darwin IT Strategies. The company does not plan on bidding directly for many contracts; it plans to market itself as a subcontractor to companies that are prime contractors. When asked about this strategy, Darwin said "We're too small to handle all of the requirements of most government contracts ourselves, and also too small to absorb the costs of responding to RFPs and submitting bids. Registering our company makes us more appealing to prime contractors who may want to subcontract our services".
